Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS) refers to the physical, cognitive and emotional challenges that ICU survivors and their families often face after critical illness. Around 80% of the 5 million people admitted to an ICU each year in the United States survive, and of those survivors, at least one-third are afflicted with PICS. Your donation will help us raise awareness of PICS and support the journey of recovery for ICU survivors and their families.
